Rock Spectacle

I’m very pumped – I’ve got tickets for the …Trail of Dead show here in Ottawa, in mid-April! It promises to be a loud, rockin’ show. It’s at a venue called the Capital Music Hall, which is ideal for live shows. It holds 1000 peeps, making just the right size for live music – not so small that you can hear the glass of the guy next to you clinking and not too cavernous or ‘arena-rock’. I’ve seen Wilco there recently and the Mars Volta, and both were great sounding shows and great performances. Needless to say, I am looking forward to this one. And, I actually have 3 friends who like …Trail of Dead stuff, so it’s cool to be able to go to a show with a couple of buddies who appreciate the music.

I really like Source Tags and Codes (especially “Another Morning Stoner” and “Baudelaire”) and their new release Worlds Apart is growing on me.
